What you do:
Print Skeleton Number Puzzle and Skeleton Poster printable and laminate for extra strength. Cut out the Skeleton Number Puzzle pieces.
Visual discrimination helps a child to see subtle differences between objects or pictures. This skill is important for children to be able to differentiate between similar looking letters and words.
Place the Skeleton Poster on the table.
Together look at the picture and name and describe the different bones of the skeleton. Sing the song Skeleton Dance:
Invite children to try to find and feel the matching bones on their body. Let children choose a Skeleton Puzzle piece. Ask, if they know what part of the skeleton the piece is from. Let children find the matching bones on the Skeleton Poster.
Let children place the Skeleton Puzzle pieces together in order from 1-10.
