Watch Out for The Grinch! Preschool and Kindergarten Circle Game
Copyright KidsSoup, Inc.

Children stand in a circle. Place one chair in the middle of the circle and place a hand bell below it. Choose one child to be a Who from Whoville. The Who is sleeping on the chair with his/her eyes closed. Quietly choose one child to be the Grinch. The Grinch sneaks up to the Who child and quietly takes the hand bell from under the chair. The Grinch runs out of the circle ringing the bell. As soon as the Who child hears the bell, he/she gets up and tries to catch the Grinch. The Grinch tries to run around the circle and into its opening to sit on the chair without being caught. If the Grinch succeeds, he/she is the Who child for the next round.
