Fill the Heart
What you need:
Heart cut out
Pom-poms, glass pebbles, hearts, etc.
Small baskets or containers
Learning Goals and Standards
Sorting and measuring
Fine motor skills
What you do:
Place all pompoms, glass pebbles, hearts, etc. in a pile on the table. Draw different heart shapes on to paper or card stock.
Sorting
Let children sort the different materials in to the containers.
Measuring
Children choose a material (per example pom-poms). Then fill the heart with the pom-poms.
