Feed the Snails

What you need:
Lettuce Grid printables
Small plastic container
Die (one)
20 small plastic snails or empty snail shells
Tray

- Understanding of numbers and quantities (recognizing and applying dice numbers)
- Early math skills (counting, matching, simple strategies)
- Fine motor skills (placing the snails on the grid)
- Hand-eye coordination
- Concentration and perseverance
- Understanding rules and game skills
- Social skills (taking turns, learning to win and lose)
What you do:
Preparations:
Print the Lettuce Grids and laminate for extra strength. Place the toy snails or snail shells in the container with the die. Place the container and the grids on a tray.
Instructions (2–3 Players):
Each player receives one lettuce garden bed mat with either 16 or 20 spaces. Players take turns rolling the die and placing one snail on a leaf for each number rolled. If only two spaces remain, the player must roll a 2 to fill the mat.
The winner is the player who feeds their snails first!
