Children enjoy sharing stories from their lives and bringing in items from home to share with their friends. The class book I celebrate by… is a perfect resource for sharing aspects of students' holiday traditions in the classroom.

Use All About Me books, rhymes, songs, and activities to provide your preschool and kindergarten children with opportunities to learn about themselves, their bodies, their emotions and feelings, and to discover everything else that makes them special. Most children want to bring their friends over to see their homes. This activity will allow children to talk about their home and to bring their home to their preschool and kindergarten classroom for everyone to see.

Our new preschool and kindergarten Weather Watch activities provide a great opportunity to introduce your children to the seasons, to learn about the water cycle, and to explore the sun, wind, rain, and clouds. Children will enjoy learning about the weather and how it affects our daily lives. 

Weather is all around us! Fall and spring are great times to talk with your children about the weather and for your children to experience the changes that happen in the weather as it cools down or warms up. In the fall, talk about how the weather is getting cooler and that the leaves are changing color and the animals are preparing for winter.
