Heart Circle Game

What you need:

A red heart with blue and white spots

Skills: Participating in a game, social skills

Have children sit in a circle. Pass a red heart with blue and white spots around the circle. Encourage the child who holds the heart at the end of the rhyme to say the name of another child and bring the heart to him/her. Repeat.

I Made This Little Heart

I made this little heart
Of red, white, and blue. 
I made this little heart
Especially for you! 

Variation or Transition:

One child walks inside the circle holding the heart. At the end of the rhyme, the child hands the heart to another child. The child then walks around the circle. Repeat until all children have had a chance to walk around the circle with the heart.
