Under the Sea and Ocean Creatures. This month’s KidsSoup theme focuses on ocean animals and includes preschool and kindergarten activities, games, and crafts designed to strengthen comprehension and concept development in all subject areas while learning about the ocean and the animals that make it their home.
Children will love wearing their squid headbands as they listen to Kevin Sherry's story I'm the Biggest Thing in the Ocean about a boastful, and then bashful, squid.
What you need:
Lightweight paper plate
Blue pipe cleaner
Blue paint
Blue craft paper
Cheerios cereal
Glue
Small container
Scissors
What you do:
Children review the letter O and make ocean animal headbands to use later in a fun movement activity.
