What you do:
Print and trace hat pattern onto craft paper. Cut out all pieces and assemble hat. Drill a hole with the pipe cleaner through the shamrock, twirl around the finger and attach below head band. Finish hat and let dry. When dry attach two stripes of green craft paper with a stapler to the back of the hat. Fit around the kid’s head and staple the ends together.
This makes also a very nice bulletin board craft. Have children cut a circle out of white craft paper. Let them decorate and draw a leprechaun’s head and attach hat to it.
