Poinsettia Art Activity
What you need:
White craft paper
Green craft paper
Red craft paper
White crayon or colored pencil
Yellow small pompom or pearls
Brown pipe cleaner or use brown paper
Glitter
Scissor
Glue

What you do:
Trace and cut poinsettia leaves out of red craft paper. Draw leaf veins. (good pre-writing skill activity for your preschooler) Trace and cut flower pot out of red or other colored craft paper. Glue pot and pipe cleaner on white paper. Glue bigger leaves in a circle around the top of pipe cleaner. Press flat. Place a small amount of glue on the tip of the smaller leaves and glue only the tip of the leave to the middle of the flower. Glue yellow pompoms or pearls into the middle of the poinsettia. Decorate pot with glitter glue.
